Google just made it more enticing for you to get on the Google Hotel Ads platform. It’s now FREE!
In the past, the only way to show up in the Google Hotel Ads was to pay per booking to feed your room rates. Now, Google is enticing lodging properties by also offering a free organic listing that shows up under the paid listings.
How do you start?
First, if you haven’t claimed your hotel listing on Google My Business, that is the first step. Update your hours, photography, manage your amenities, and post about specials and happenings at your lodging property weekly (not required but if you aren’t doing this you are missing out on valuable traffic).
Second, you must work with a Google Hotel Ads partner. The partner is your booking engine. Contact your booking engine partner and ask if they are a Google Hotel Ads partner. Google has a page of partners but it is not complete.
